Historical Rarity – “BGN” Factory Stamp:

This specific instrument features the genuine factory BGN (Bargain) stamp on the back of the headstock. During the 1970s, the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo used this marking exclusively for instruments sold directly to company employees. Unlike standard production or “SECOND” stamped guitars, BGN models are exceptionally rare collector items that showcase a unique piece of Gibson’s history.

Condition & Restoration Work:

The guitar features a beautiful, dense natural nitrocellulose lacquer cracking across the body, giving it incredible vintage character.

It has undergone a professional conservative restoration on the top : two longitudinal cracks along the spruce grain (visible in the pictures) have been structurally repaired and stabilized. The top belly deformation has also been corrected, properly stabilizing the soundboard and ensuring optimal playability.
